2025 Heritage Jersey – Honouring the Clydesdales Legacy

The Western Clydesdales are proud to unveil our 2025 Heritage Jersey, a striking tribute to the iconic Toowoomba Clydesdales teams of the 1970s.

This special edition jersey, to be worn by both our BMD Premiership and Hostplus Cup sides on Saturday 23rd August, pays homage to a golden era of rugby league in the Darling Downs. Inspired by the original design proudly worn by local legends, the jersey features the traditional sky-blue body with navy and red shoulder panels, a bold and unmistakable nod to our club’s rich past.

Most notably, we have replaced our modern club crest with the classic hand-drawn "TOOWOOMBA" Clydesdale emblem, evoking memories of grit, pride and regional dominance.

From the laced collar detailing to the retro block numbering, every element of this jersey has been crafted to honour the legacy of those who built the foundation of rugby league in our region.
