Hidden away at the end of a private laneway in the Balinese Village of Berewa, villa Kubu Dewi Sri (named after the Hindu goddess of rice) is one of the area's most secluded and luxurious villas.

Entering through the traditional Balinese gateway you will be instantly struck by the ambience of this magnificently maintained property. 

Instantly, you are welcomed with a walk across a stone bridge, which traverses the entry pond containing Koi fish (and’ Turdy’ the Turtle) the main open-air living pavilion now awaits. This stunning area consists of two living spaces, a modern and well-appointed kitchen, and a dining area containing a magnificent handcrafted wooden dining setting for 12 people, which is all underneath a soaring conical roof supported by rustic ironwood pillars. Standing in the main living pavilion you will be able to overlook the stunning gardens featuring a lush lawn area bordered by garden beds containing a variety of exotic plants including coconut palms and frangipani trees. The L-shape design of the villa wraps itself around the garden, which means guests can enjoy this beautiful vista from a variety of locations. Even more eye-catching is the view from the garden across the 16 x 4-metre infinite-edged swimming pool onto the terraced rice fields, all of which enhance the privacy and serenity of the villa Kubu Dewi Sri.

Guests have the choice of five air-conditioned bedrooms, all of which are accessible through large glass sliding doors.

Each bedroom has a king or queen-size bed, ceiling fan, television and media player as well as their own en suite bathroom and toilet facilities.

Each bedroom also has ample wardrobe and storage space for guests’ clothing and personal items.

For security purposes, guest bedrooms are fitted with a combination safe for the storage of valuable items.

All of these ensuites contain open-air private garden shower areas which adds to the uniqueness of the Kubu Dewi Sri experience.

The dining area contains a magnificent handcrafted wooden dining setting for 12 people, which is all underneath a soaring conical roof supported by rustic ironwood pillars.
