Jane Giblin is a painter, drawer, photographer, and print maker based in Hobart with studios in Lutana and the city. She has MFADs in painting and printmaking and her work is held in various public and private collections around Australia. Jane's work consider the relationship between the people of the landscape, the domesticated animals of the landscape and their historical relationships. Alongside most of her major work on paper projects Jane produces series of lithographs, dry-points, analogue photographs and oil paintings. This Venetian Marcher was documented in Venice several years ago but painted in a series responding to her own travels in a pre-Covid era.
