DAUGHTERS DEFIANT: a fundraising auction supporting Keep Our Clinics and WRRAP

We are saddened and enraged by the recently leaked draft of the Supreme Court's decision overturning Roe v. Wade, and we want to mobilize immediately to provide support to those most affected by this terrible situation.

With the generous support of our community of artists we present:

DAUGHTERS DEFIANT: a fundraising auction supporting Keep Our Clinics and WRRAP

This is an online auction of original artworks, with 100% of the proceeds to be divided evenly between two organizations working on the ground to protect the right to safe abortions: Keep Our Clinics and WRRAP.  The auction will open on Mother's Day, Sunday, May 8 and will close May 14.

Keep Our Clinics provides funding to a network of independent clinics throughout all 50 states. The majority of clinics providing care after the first trimester are independent and are often located in small towns, rural areas, and politically hostile states, and may be the only abortion providers in their state or region. Our contribution to Keep Our Clinics will help their members to meet the needs of every patient and ensure that providers are fully equipped to provide this essential health care.

WRRAP  (Women's Reproductive Rights Assistance Project) is the largest national, independent, nonprofit abortion fund.  WRRAP ensures that financially-disadvantaged individuals of all ages, ethnicities, cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and sexual orientations can access abortion care and emergency contraception. They provide funding for both medical and surgical procedures.

All of the works were generously donated by the artists in support of Keep Our Clinics and WRRAP.  We are grateful to them for their support, which will help to defend the right of all people to make informed decisions about their bodies.
