Play for Purpose Pirates Junior Rugby
Pirates U14 Boys vs Farrer MAHS
Postponed to Friday 15 August, Pirates Rugby Club – Tamworth
SCROLL DOWN FOR AUCTION
Fundraising Permit Number 25699
Join us for a special night of junior rugby with a powerful cause at its heart.
On August 15, just after DonateLife Week, Pirates U14 boys will take the field in custom DonateLife and Transplant Australia jerseys, while both teams will wear pink socks in honour of transplant families and donor heroes. This is more than just a game, it’s a community-led event raising awareness for organ and tissue donation, and supporting the life-changing work of Transplant Australia.
The round is inspired by the journey of one of our U14 players, Levi Stolker, who recently received a heart transplant. Remarkably, both of Levi’s parents, Joseph and Leonnee, are also transplant recipients. Their family’s lived experience has shown firsthand the extraordinary impact of donation.
The idea for the round came from co-coach Andrew Pieper, and the event is proudly organised by the Stolker family, Andrew, and team manager Kristen Barnes, with the entire team stepping up in a big way to make a difference.
