This project brought together Noah Hunt’s two passions: animals and art. Through learning about this endangered gecko, he developed a deeper appreciation for the fragile world of the moko pirirākau and the role creativity can play in protecting it.
“I really enjoyed learning about this particular endangered species of gecko, and I hope my artwork will help, in some small way, the moko pirirākau to not just survive but flourish in its natural habitat.”
A Green Bay High School student, Noah’s work reflects both emerging artistic talent and a genuine commitment to conservation.
