Home Garden Installation by Chicago Grows Food

Looking to build out a home garden but don't know where to start? Are you a renter or a homeowner that doesn't have access to healthy, nutrient rich soil? Are you a seasoned gardener looking to add something new to your existing garden? Then this package is for you!

The Home Garden Installation recipient will receive a setup that includes soil, seeds, seedlings, education support and has a choice between: 12 five-gallon grow bags; one, four by four fabric raised bed; or one 100-gallon fabric bag. You will select the setup with support and guidance from a Chicago Grows Food representative based on your available space and gardening goals. Additionally, CGF will provide the tools and resources for gardening, nutrition and cooking education. You will have the opportunity to attend monthly workshops, receive weekly gardening resource emails during the growing season, and one-on-one technical assistance. This package is a terrific way to start home gardening or add to your current garden for both homeowners and renters in the Chicagoland area.
