Limited edition film still of THE GIANTS (2023) featuring an artist impression of the wood wide web of fungi The work was created by French artist Alex Le Guillou based on a real life 3D scan of a  giant Tasmanian myrtle located off Que Road, Tarkine/Takayna. The work was created for the feature film THE GIANTS, the extraordinary life of Bob Brown intertwined with the story of Australia's giant trees, released in cinemas in 2023.

Inspired by technology, science, and nature, Alex’s work explores a vision of our macrocosm through the prism of the machine and technology. Working for digital and creative agencies, his recent exhibition credits include Van Gogh: An Immersive Journey (Dublin) and Vibrance (Noor Riyadh Festival, Saudi Arabia).
