Ian Lean paints Australian landscapes of extraordinary beauty. We are so fortunate to include Ian's landscape 'Hawksbury River' in our auction.

He paints in both oils and acrylics and derives most of his inspiration from the scenic waterways around Sydney and the rural landscapes of N.S.W. Works are produced plein air and in the studio using photographs taken on painting trips and strives to create works of art depicting the conditions and mood of the location at the time.
