Auction terms and conditions
1. Scope and Contractual Partner
These Special Auction Terms & Conditions apply to all auctions conducted on this website. The contractual partner for all auctions is Lian Ospelt Management (Sole Proprietorship), registered and headquartered in Vaduz, Principality of Liechtenstein (hereinafter referred to as the "Seller"). Lian Original is the operating brand and a subsidiary division of Lian Ospelt Management.
2. Currency and Payment Clearing
Currency of Transaction:
All bids, price displays, and final settlements are conducted exclusively in Swiss Francs (CHF).
Financial Management:
All financial transactions and invoicing are managed by Lian Ospelt Management.
Payment Obligations:
The winning bidder is obligated to ensure that the full amount is received in CHF. Any currency conversion fees or bank charges resulting from international transfers are to be borne entirely by the buyer.
Prices and Fees
(1) All winning bids are subject to a 10% Service and Handling Surcharge.
(2) This fee is applied to the final hammer price and covers all logistics, comprehensive shipping insurance, and administrative processing.
3. Exclusivity and Subject of Auctions
In-House Products: The auction platform is reserved exclusively for original products of the Lian Original brand
Authenticity:
The Seller guarantees the authenticity and provenance of every auctioned item.
4. Participation and Registration
To place bids, customers must register an account on the website. By participating, the bidder declares full legal capacity. The Seller reserves the right to exclude bidders at its own discretion in case of suspected misuse or lack of creditworthiness.
5. Contract Conclusion
Binding Offer:
Each bid placed via the Auctioneer software constitutes a legally binding purchase offer.
Conclusion:
The purchase contract with Lian Ospelt Management is concluded upon the "Award" (winning bid) at the end of the auction period, provided any applicable Reserve Price (minimum bid) has been met.
Anti-Sniping:
Any bid placed within the final 2 minutes will extend the auction duration by an additional 2 minutes to ensure a fair bidding process.
6. Prices and Shipping
Bids are final prices in CHF excluding administration fee. The total amount is due for payment to Lian Ospelt Management immediately upon receipt of the winning bid confirmation.
7. Right of Withdrawal / Return
In accordance with the Liechtenstein Distance and Off-Premises Business Act (FAGG), consumers are entitled to a 14-day right of withdrawal. Exceptions apply to bespoke or highly customized items made to customer specifications.
Please note that due to the extreme rarity and archived status of these pieces, all auction purchases are final and non-returnable.

8. Warranty and Condition
Items marked as "Proto", "Studio", or "P-Invent" are sold with the specific characteristics described in the listing. These documented conditions do not constitute a material defect. Otherwise, the statutory warranty provisions of the Principality of Liechtenstein apply.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed exclusively by the laws of the Principality of Liechtenstein. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is Vaduz, Liechtenstein.

Each piece has served as a physical chapter in our brand's visual story and has been meticulously inspected to ensure it meets our standards before heading to the auction block. Bid on these storied display pieces, with auctions starting at 50% below retail price.
Legacy Collection (LC):
Once a design is removed from the shop or sells out, it moves to our final auctions—the absolute last opportunity to secure these pieces before they enter the Lian Original legacy collection forever. Because every Item in this Category, is freshly manufactured to order, delivery is 6-7 Weeks.
Prototype/Sample:
These are the one-of-one prototypes and exclusive colorway samples that represent the "Chapter Zero" of our history. Each piece tells the untold story of the Lian Original design process (capturing the raw evolution and experimental steps that never reached the public shop) offering a singular, final chance to own a unique fragment of our heritage before it is retired to the archives forever.
