drama skills for life

Our program aims to build the students' confidence, communication skills and creative talents while they learn about drama and theatre and have lots of fun! It includes speech (fun jingles and rhymes to improve their voice), movement (a dance drama method called Laban where they act out short stories to music), creative improvised drama (class plays), short scripts or scenes with partners or small groups and productions (term four). Plus, plenty of fun drama games!

During Term 4 we focus on our Production for the year. We rehearse at class every week during the term at our studio. The production involves a short, scripted piece that we then perform on the stage at Keysborough Secondary College in the final week of term. There's lots of laughs, music and fun to be had!
