Le Good Society: Let’s live with less plastic - art auction
Plastic is literally everywhere and for the first time in history, humans now have plastic in their blood which could pose a health risk that may be irreversible. And yet, global production of plastic is set to double by 2030 meaning the planets plastic crisis is set to worsen dramatically causing even greater harm to plants, animals, ecosystems and the oceans - unless we all take whatever actions we can, create solutions and change our habits.
Le Good Society is a UK-based organisation committed to arts and activism. For the third year, Le Good has assembled a group of talented artists to raise awareness around plastic pollution and Plastic Free July - to encourage one and all to reduce their single-use plastic usage however they can.
Titled “Let’s Live With Less Plastic,” the outdoor art exhibition presents work that is featured across billboards in the UK, the Netherlands, Denmark, and New York City’s Times Square. On view for millions of people to see each day. All the art is also available to own via an online auction of original art & NFTs - raising vital funds for ocean conservation and plastic pollution.
A percentage of proceeds from winning bids will be donated to the non-profit charity partner Oceanic Global. Oceanic Globals work has removed 993,746,227 single-use-plastics from entering the ocean long-term. Every £1 donated from the auction proceeds will help prevent 1KG of plastic entering the ocean.
So what are you waiting for? Click on your favourite art piece, make a bid and help us to prevent as much single-use plastic entering the ocean this Plastic Free July.
All NFTs purchased will allow the buyer first access to future Le Good Society NFTs, product drops, future events and 30 min meet and greet zoom or in person session with the artist, as well as an optional 45 min consulting zoom session with Tia Grazette to talk through any environmentally focused ideas and/or how to live a more sustainable & plastic free life in general.
