Julia Gillard AC, former leader of the Australian Labor Party, served as the 27th Prime Minister of Australia between 2010 to 2013. She is the first and only woman in Australia to hold national office.
This poster is a genuine collector’s item, hand signed by Julia Gillard at the Melbourne Town Hall on 10 November 2013 at the public tribute event, 'Credit Where Credit is Due', hosted by the Victorian Women’s Trust in recognition of her leadership.
'Don’t Get Mad, Get Elected' is an original print by Carol Porter, commissioned by the Victorian Women’s Trust in 1997 and reprinted with permission from the State Library of Victoria.
