Your Chance to Bid on a 2025 Bushpigs or Miss Piggies Legacy Jersey.
This auction is for the starting jerseys (15 mens jerseys + 10 womens jerseys) worn in the matches on Saturday 21 June. The online auction concludes at 5:00pm Saturday 21 June 2025, when it transitions to a live auction taking place at the Legacy Dinner at Banjo Paterson Inn from 6:30pm that evening. If you are unable to attend the event, be sure to place your best offer prior to 5pm Saturday 21st, as this will become the opening bid that evening.
If you win a jersey and need it shipped to you, we will arrange postage in the days following the auction. Postage fees will apply.
About Legacy Day
Legacy Day a new community fundraising initiative created by Jindabyne Rugby Union Club, designed to build a sustainable future for local sporting infrastructure and community facilities.
Legacy Day replaces the club’s traditional annual charity day format, shifting focus toward creating lasting infrastructure improvements that will benefit not only the Bushpigs but the entire Jindabyne sporting and broader community for generations to come.
The funds raised through Legacy Day will establish a dedicated community investment fund, enabling the club to:
- Have projects “shovel ready” for grant opportunities
- Commit 50% co-funding for major infrastructure projects
- Commission feasibility studies for future community facility improvements
- Respond quickly to emerging infrastructure needs in the Jindabyne sporting community
- Support meaningful community initiatives and charitable causes that align with our values
- Provide emergency assistance for community projects and local organizations in need
This strategic approach will position the club to leverage government grants more effectively, while maintaining our long-standing tradition of supporting worthy causes throughout the Snowy Mountains region. The fund will potentially multiply the impact of every dollar raised through Legacy Day, creating both lasting infrastructure and immediate community benefit.
