About the Artist
Sandra is a mixed media artist who creates colourful, radiant paintings using acrylic and oil paint and mixed media.
She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the College of Fine Arts at The University of NSW and has been making art in some form or another ever since!
After working for many years in graphic design, she has now come full circle and returned to my first love of painting and drawing full time.
Her favourite subjects are flowers, landscapes and people. She always return to painting expressive florals, using a range of mixed media techniques such as collage and image transfer, in a combination that is uniquely her own.
In her work she aims to bring more light, colour and joy to the world. People often remark that her work makes them smile and that, to her, is the ultimate compliment.
