Greyt Masters : Autonomia
The "Greyt Masters" works are created by the "Kennel Kids" at Greyhound Rescue. These greyhounds have come to Greyhound Rescue from the racing industry and are being rehabilitated in order to start their new lives as adored family pets.
This latest collection "Greyt Masters : Autonomia" explores the concepts of self and identity; drawing inspiration from within and reflecting back to the viewer a world laid bare, stripped of inhibition, and left to ponder the broadness of existence.
Greyhounds are invited to participate in creating artworks as a form of enrichment. Enrichment activities are excellent to help rescued hounds develop confidence and decision-making skills. Money raised from the sale of artworks assists with the high costs of rescuing, rehabilitation, and rehoming greyhounds.
