#09 Class 2 Bug Art 2

One of two entirely vegan, collectable entomological artworks, made by our year 2 (seven and eight year old) students, and their crafty parents (no bugs were harmed in the making of this artwork). Each precious little critter is embroidered by nimble little hands (and their adult helpers) using the highest quality colour-fast cotton silk embroidery thread.

Mounted onto a hessian panel and professionally framed in white timber, each piece is lightweight and can be fixed easily to the wall with adhesive hooks. Each of the two artworks is auctioned separately and both feature a variety of spectacular bedazzled creepy crawlies. Side-by-side they make a perfect duo, or one piece on its own makes an exciting and curious statement piece.

These artworks, conceived of, and project managed by our very talented year 2 parent and commercially successful professional artist, Amelia Axton, are sure to become collectors items.
