About this item

A haori is a traditional hip-to-thigh-length Japanese open-front jacket historically worn over a kimono. Known for its loose, fluid silhouette and relaxed drape, it has evolved into a popular unisex streetwear and smart-casual staple worn over modern basics like T-shirts and jeans.

Traditional haori are not meant to close completely in the front. Instead, they hang open and are held together by two short braided cords called himo.

Please take care when cleaning this garment. Dry cleaning recommended.

Kindly donated by the Cherry family.
