About this item

These are the wines you might see in the secret bars of Melbourne or bustling rooftops bars. This collection of wines from the Tarot Series by Alpha Box & Dice include:

  • Rose
  • Grenache
  • Pinot Grigio
  • Prosecco

Rose: Cascading blossom flurrying freely, borne aloft on the winds of time. Our new vintage Tarot Rosé is a peek into the future of your favourite pink drink, where we kiss goodbye overly-sweet styles, offering the other cheek to pinging acid and the freshness of new season apples that promise to keep the doctor away. A delicate damsel certainly, but not one to underestimate. Gorgeousness built on Grenache.

Grenache: After Death, new life shoots forth, signalling rebirth, rejuvenation and transformation. The Death Card embodies our signature style of grenache – a new era for the variety in McLaren Vale as a bright, juicy red wine. Traditionally, McLaren Vale grenache was heavy and over-oaked, trying to imitate Shiraz. We don’t believe this is the best way to get the most out of grenache – favouring lively acidity, low tannin extraction and drinkability first and foremost. A 'Nouveaux' wine in more ways than one.

Pinot G – Gris or Grigio – the choice is ultimately up to the winemaker. Gris is the more 'masculine' style – richer, spicier and higher in alcohol, made famous in France. Grigio is the more 'feminine' style – crisper, more mineral, fresher and lighter, made famous over the border in Italy. The Lovers from the Tarot deck represent love, harmony, relationships and choices, embodying the duality between Gris and Grigio and the powerful choice the winemaker has in which style to create. (Paracombe Vineyards, Paracombe, Adelaide Hills)

Prosecco: This Prosecco from the crew at Alpha Box & Dice positively glows in almost every way. Taking inspiration from the The Sun Card from the Tarot deck, iIn the glass it is gently bubbly, with a swirling bouquet of apple, blossom and pear. A dry style AKA how a Prosecco is supposed to be. It’s perfect on its own, or in a Spritz.

Note: Collection by 18 year olds+, obviously.
