Bonnie Cooper uses photography to celebrate the "spirit and soul of nature." In this piece, she portrays a close-up of two purple orchids in an impressionist style. Bonnie Cooper is an Arrowmont instructor. She spent over 30 years as a practicing psychotherapist before discovering that “photography was the preferred expression of her artist’s soul.” Cooper began pursuing the art of photography in 2000. In addition to The Interbeing Project, her portfolio includes nature and landscape photography and images that reflect the Appalachian barn tradition. She exhibits in galleries in Florida and North Carolina. Her signature project, The Interbeing Project: the Interface of Woman & Nature, has received high acclaim. Bonnie assists Don McGowan in Earthsong Photography workshops.
