Auction for Charlie’s Rainbow – Supporting Paediatric AML Research

Bid on this canvas print 1000mm x 1500mm by Chern'ee Sutton a contemporary Indigenous artist from the Kalkadoon people from Mount Isa in Queensland, generously donated by Farquar Art.

This painting is called “Ngaimai” which means “To Chase or To Hunt” in the Kalkadoon language.

The Kalkadoon people have ruled the emu foot province for at least the last 40,000 years and have been connected to their lands through their dreaming stories, songs and art. The many campsites and footprints show the Kalkadoon peoples journey hunting and gathering food.
