Condition report:
Blue cloth covers show little wear, save one quarter-size spot of discoloration to front cover. Dust jacket shows some edge creasing. 242 pages. Binding is sound.
Why It Matters:
William George Hughes' letters were the fodder for the popular 19th century book G.T.T. (Gone To Texas.) He came to Texas in the 1870s and set up a sheep ranch outside of Boerne. This book adds new letters to those found in G.T.T. as well as family history about Hughes and the ranch he established. A scarce Kendall County and ranching title.
