The design of the Busselton Jetty Number Plates features an Old Wife, which is a fish endemic to Southern parts of Australia, and one of the Jetty's most iconic and well-loved species.

Auction terms and conditions
TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
- Items in this auction are being sold by Busselton Jetty Inc;
- The reserve price for all number plates is $700;
- Bidder registration with full contact details is required to place a bid;
- The highest bid above the reserve price at the end of the Auction (Auction End) will be the winning bid;
- The Auction will end at 7:00pm 31st October 2024;
- The winning bidder will be notified within 24 hours of bidding closing;
- Payment for the number plates will be required via online payment, a 1.9% admin fee applies;
- The number plate purchase does not attract GST;
- Plates purchased will be made to the size and style of the plates through the online Air Auctioneer platform. There is no ability to change the style or design in any way;
- Bidding is open to all Australian residents, however the plate may only be registered to and collected by a WA resident with a WA drivers licence;
- Busselton Jetty Inc. will facilitate the plate order from Department of Transport (DoT) on behalf of the auction Winners. Winners will be required to provide their driver licence number or ACN and full contact details, and are able to nominate their preferred Driver and Vehicle Services collection point;
- A registered vehicle, trailer, camper, or caravan is required to collect the number plates from the Driver and Vehicle Services Centre;
- An additional transfer fee of $103.80 payable to Department of Transport (DoT) is required upon plate collection. Transfer fee is accurate as of September 2024 and is subject to change without notice. The bidder (and ultimate winner) understands and agrees that any fees or costs imposed by DoT is payable by them and is in addition to and separate to the cost of purchasing the licence plates at Auction from BJI;
- There may be additional fees or requirements imposed by the Department of Transport (DoT) to enable the Busselton Jetty Licence Plates to be collected and/or used on a vehicle. BJI does not accept any liability for any additional costs or requirements the Winner may incur as a result of purchasing the Busselton Jetty Licence Plates.
Items in this auction are subject to an automatic extension feature. If a bid is received within
10 minutes of expiry, bidding is extended by 10 minutes. These times, and the
number of extensions which may take place, may be changed by the auction administrator without notice.
Items in this auction may be subject to an undisclosed reserve price.

Should the leading bid at expiry not meet the reserve price, the item will not be sold.
Items in this auction are sold subject to an administration fee of 1.9%, which will be added to the winning bid.
Bids for items in this auction are in Australian Dollars.
