#Lot 01 Caroma Daisy of Bairnsley ET (9789)

Caroma is a 13 month old, yellow embryo heifer created 15 years ago and kept frozen until 2020. Her dam is Regan of Bairnsley (5521), twice AHCS National Highland Grand Champion Cow) and her sire is Am Prionnsa Odhar of Bairnsley ET (6759), also AHCS National Grand Champion Bull himself and the most consistent producing bull we have bred. Caroma is broken in and extremely quiet - she loves a brush. She has been shown and leads very well. She is an extremely correct female structurally - shoulders, hips, topline, feet and legs are all exactly where you would want them - just a well balanced animal. This girl is a smaller Highland, likely because of her rough start to life - born in a puddle of mud and 3/4 dead when we found her. She was washed in our bath tub to clean her and warm her up (& named after the tap brand in our bathroom, and not a mis-spelling of a COVID name), and needing to be tube fed for a few days. On top of this, sadly, her recipient (or surrogate) mother then got sick when she was 3 months old, and died 2 months later. This is a very traditional, correct Highland, with an exceptional pedigree. She will add to any fold in Australia, especially if you want a dopey quiet animal in the paddock.
