The designer
Georgia Martin is an artist working primarily in ceramics and photography. Currently based in Bacchus Marsh in regional Victoria, Georgia is inspired by minimal, timeless design and the Victorian and Australian landscape. All materials are sourced within Victoria and Australia. All pieces are thoughtfully made and fired in Bacchus Marsh.
The item
Hand cut hoops made from an iron rich stoneware clay. Light enough for everyday wear, the shape and size of these hoops are a statement piece. Bold but minimal.
Each piece is unique in shape, and colouring due to glaze application and reduction firing. This makes every piece as individual as the person wearing them.
Pieces are complete with stirling silver stud and butterfly backing.
