By Maggie Stien, 'From Athol Beach, Bradley's Head', reduction lino print on Japanese Ho sho paper, 48 x 40 cm (Framed).

Athol Beach is close to Bradley's Head, not far from the Taronga Park jetty in Mosman, Sydney. From there you can walk around the harbour's edge, via Chowder Bay to Balmoral Beach. A bush walk there earlier this year inspired this reduction print.

Maggie Stein is ​Originally from Goulburn. Maggie has been living a creative life for over 30 years, currently residing in Sydney's inner west. She has exhibited widely, is a passionate art educator, has sold many pieces through exhibition and commission and won several awards. In 2019 Maggie was awarded the People's Choice in The Blue Mountains Print Prize and the Urban Edge Art Award ( run by Inner West Council).

​Her original lino prints are created in her Marrickville studio, all are printed by hand with archival inks and printed on acid neutral papers of Japanese and European origin.
