Donna Malone is based in Yuggera Country/Brisbane and is a full-time visual artist.
She spends her time drawing, mark-making, collecting and collaging (constructing and deconstructing) in her home studio or in nature.
Donna attended Sydney College of the Arts (1980), Randwick TAFE Graphic Design (1982) and Murwillumbah TAFE Drawing (1995) and Vis Arts (2003). She has recently attended residencies in Art Print Residency - Barcelona, Bruny Island, TAS and twice @Tweed River Regional Gallery, NSW. Donna has received numerous awards and was Finalist in the 2019 Brisbane Portrait Prize, Powerhouse, QLD, Online Finalist in the 2021 Lethbridge Landscape Prize, QLD and Finalist in the Milburn Art Prize, Brisbane Iinstitute of Art, QLD. She is represented by Lorraine Pilgrim Gallery Southport.
