A native of Madoc and retired school teacher, artist Jan Bruce studied Tole painting under Jane McCoy, then went on to study watercolour painting under Peter Hickey, and Jean McDonnell. She has painted in Greece and Vernon B.C. Jan is also involved with scrapbooking, and creating personalized cards.
