World Vision Singapore 40th Anniversary Charity Dinner Art Auction

We invite you to partner with our children from Mongolia whose lives have been uplifted through World Vision's Child Sponsorship Programme, to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable children impacted by long-term conflict and natural disasters.

20 children from our Selenge Area Programme in Mongolia seek to give back to the community by contributing their talent in art for World Vision's charity auction, in hopes of helping fellow vulnerable children. Each of these children built their self-confidence and developed their artistic talent through the support of World Vision's child development clubs. These unique art pieces depict their hopes for their future and their homeland.

Proceeds from the art auction will go towards providing relief for children from hunger and acute malnutrition, shielding them from the threat of exploitation born from conflict and disaster, and supporting the healing and education of those scarred by conflict in Afghanistan, South Sudan, Bangladesh and the Philippines.

$1,000 will equip 170 children living in conflict-affected areas with essential skills and knowledge on children's rights and protection, and improve access to alternative learning programmes and school supplies for 25 out-of-school children in the Philippines.

$3,000 will train 8 heath care providers to deliver mental health and psychosocial support, and trauma care services to conflict-affected children.

$5,000 will train and equip 30 hungry families to establish home vegetable gardens for food supply in an area on the brink of famine, and train 30 mothers to provide Maternal, Infant and Young Child Nutrition counselling services to other mothers to tackle high rates of malnutrition.
