Cellers de Scala Dei - Masdeu 2013 (magnum) DOQ Priorat (Lot#3)

The "Les Garnatxes" are an exciting series of wines from Scala Dei, the winery with the oldest origins in DOQ Priorat. These wines focus upon the Grenache variety from unique vineyards within their holdings.

This magnum bottle is from their inaugural vintage for this wine, sourced from the Masdeu vineyard that sits at over 600 meters in altitude on rare limestone soils in the region. Fragrant and delicate, these wines have quickly established themselves as a reference for the exceedingly-fine Grenache wines possible within this region.

This wine is the last magnum in existence from the vintage and was donated directly from their bottle archive.
