Willow Glen Farm - Fall 2024 Auction
Welcome to our 2024 Fall Sale!
We have assembled a collection of quality Highland genetics. There's sure to be animal that meets your needs in the sale - registered heifers calves, a registered yearling heifer, a bred cross bred heifer and a two-year old registered bull. As well as a few semen lots.
Bidding opens on November 1 at 8:00 am MT and soft closes on November 2, 2024 at 6:00 pm MT. Minimum $100 increments, except for semen which will be minimum $25 increments. All bids in Canadian dollars. Registration is required with your name, email and address. You may choose to use a pseudonym for the public display by editing your profile settings. You can also elect to be notified via text or email if outbid by indicating so in the same profile settings. Automated proxy bidding is also available. The reserve price is the same as the starting price.
Bidding will remain open on individual lots if there has been at least one bid received within the last 5 minutes. Once 5 minutes has lapsed without any bidding activity on any particular lot, that lot will close. Only those with continued activity will remain open. We will contact all winning bidders immediately following the sale. All financial transactions will take place directly with us.
Calves will be weaned immediately following the sale, ready for pick up mid-November. They have been vaccinated and boosted with BoviShield GOLD ONESHOT & Vision 8 Somnus with SPUR. Treated with SafeGuard, Saber and FerAppease. Older animals have their latest vaccinations/treatments listed in their profiles. Full health records will accompany every sale.
We may be able provide delivery at a reasonable price, please contact us directly to discuss. For more complex deliveries, we are happy to work with a custom hauler of your choosing.

Please note, we will keep adding photos - right up until sale day. Animals will be available to view in person alongside their dams at the farm November 1 & 2, 2024.
Sale Conditions
- Animals must be paid for in full within 7 days of the sale. Payments must be in Canadian funds. We accept e-transfer, wire, cash or cheque. We can also accept credit card payments, subject to a 2.9% convenience fee.
- If successful on bidding on less than two animals, buyers must be members of the CHCS or AHCA and own Highland cattle. Or own other cattle and have made arrangements with us prior to sale start.
- Animals must be collected on or before December 31, 2024. Animals are guaranteed to be healthy at transport. If not, the full purchase price with be refunded. This does not include incidental damage to horns. Buyer assumes all transportation cost and risk.
- Buyers must have a secure area to hold animals for several days to acclimate them safely.
- US buyers, an extra $150 will be added to the final price to cover export costs. Additional testing required by individual states will be extra. Please ensure your state does not require a CAN brand. Any brokerage fees are the responsibility of the buyer. Note that we do not sell animals to the southern States. - Bulls are sold with a breeding guarantee. The seller will retain a 50% semen interest on all bulls sold. Please click here for details: Guarantee/Semen Interest
- Semen lots are Canada only. Stored at Bow Valley Genetics in Alberta. Buyer must take possession by December 31, 2024. Shipping at buyers expense. Price includes GST.
- We reserve the right to refuse any bid.
