We love this bull. He’s a hard one to sell. We don’t keep many bulls intact, so you know he’s of quality. We used him on a group of fourteen of our best cows this year, so are hopeful we’ll have some offspring to keep instead. And we have his full sister, Jenzie of Willow Glen. She is near perfection, and we’ve retained an AI bull calf out of her to grow out.

Kabota is deep, powerful and gentle. Thick. He moves well. Has good feet and plenty of breed character. Masculine, symmetrical horns. Is super quiet, so sometimes verges on the edge of stubborn. Keep in mind, we don’t make pets out of our bulls, preferring we always maintain an arms length of distance between us. He comes when called. Good with fences. Gets along with other bulls, giving up quickly if an argument ensues.  

His dam is a deep, feminine cow that has maintained a good udder into her teens. She also has good feet. His sire, Beauregard brings the bulk and excellent temperament. Beau tends to stamp on good feet and improve udders, as well.

He likes his work and is good with his cows. And has passed all (3) of his breeding soundness exams with flying colours. The most recent from September 26th is linked above.

While having plenty of body, he's not a tall bull - but being only 2 ½, he's got plenty of growing yet to do. And if we're being picky, he could use a neck tuck. 

Kabota is up to date on his vaccinations. The most recent being Cattle Master Gold FP5 and UltraChoice 8 in May 2024. We'll treat him with Saber this fall.
