Amber room memory is a painting of grevillea and banksia in behind which I fashioned from a memory, amber, patterned glass that used to enclose the patio, where we practiced the piano, plaid indoor lawn bowls or even put on plays for out parents, when we were children.
About the Artist
Clare questions the disciplines of landscape, portraiture and still life. Through drawing in her outdoor studios, the performance artist unravels myths of identity embedded in her surroundings.
