About this item

A version of everybody's favorite cinomatic trash compactor! The students took one look at this vintage carborator and it became Wal-E's head and eyes.

Sculpture created by:

Chase Teed Wayland-Cohocton Senior

My experience with the sculpture project was very fun. I’ve done a bunch of sculptures now and I’ve really enjoyed making every one. Each time I learn new things and I learn how to work with people. Overall, I think that making the sculptures was a really good experience.

Elijah Grasby Wayland-Cohocton Junior

I worked on a replica of a character from my favorite childhood movie, “Wall-e.”  I have always struggled with the concept of creating certain things, but working on this project with my good friend, Chase, I learned to appreciate the time and patience it takes to complete our sculpture.  So, thank you to my teacher and my friends for pushing me to go on and do bigger and better things in this class.
