Description: For years I have watched from my coastal home the muttonbirds come by me in their thousands on their migratory flight path. I love the way they come for hours in big groups then sometimes rest up in rafts on the sea in all weather. Numbers seem less in recent years perhaps due to climate change or maybe I have had my head down painting in the studio.
