#WWDA10 Little G

'Little G' was born in the TOOG Area Pack in May 2021. She is easily recognized and nick-named for the unique coat pattern on her thigh. Little G dispersed from the TOOG Area Pack in February 2023 with two of her sisters to search for unrelated males to join and form a new pack. Unfortunately, one of her sisters was fatally injured while trying to cross a fence line. Shortly after, Little G rejoined the TOOG Area Pack and played an important role in helping rear the alpha female's litter during the 2023 denning season.

This photograph was taken by Reilly Mooney, the Project Coordinator for the Waterberg Wild Dog Initiative, in December 2022 while monitoring the pack in the field to check on the status of the 6-month-old pups born earlier in the year.
