Arlie Asiu - Private Ukulele Lesson

Arlie-Avery grew up on Maui and was first introduced to the ukulele by his uncle as a child. By the age of nine, he had already begun composing his own music. Since then, he has released four instrumental ukulele albums of entirely original music, three of which earned Na Hoku Hanohano Awards nominations.

Arlie’s music blends multiple genres including jazz, rock, classical, and traditional Hawaiian music, often pairing the ukulele with instruments such as cello, bass, saxophone, guitar, and percussion. Known for his fingerpicking style and creative tunings, he continually pushes the boundaries of the instrument.

Today, Arlie performs regularly at venues across Maui and teaches students of all ages. This private lesson is a wonderful opportunity to learn technique, musicality, and creative approaches directly from an innovative ukulele artist.
