This work was inspired by Pete Cromer’s luminous and colourful Green Sea Turtle. Students used shades of green and purple to create an ombre effect and then the shell pieces were carefully assembled to recreate a turtle in Cromer’s style. Green Sea Turtles get their name from the greenish tinge to their skin, along with their herbivore diet.
