General Idea
General Idea was a group of Canadian artists, active from 1969 to 1994. Starting in 1973, they were a trio who went by the pseudonyms Felix Partz, Jorge Zontal and AA Bronson. They were eccentric artists whose work was often satirical and addressed various aspects of mass media, consumer culture, social inequalities, queer identity, the art economy and the AIDS crisis.
