Colours of Autumn - 5/6H

Class: 5/6H Title: Colours of Autumn Size: 50cm x 70cm Media: Watercolour, pencil and gold leaf

5/6H have been inspired by the vibrant and unique colours of Autumn. We experimented with leaves found in our school and local area replicating their colours with layers of watercolour. We considered symmetry and the veins, tracing and adapting leaves to make them as realistic as possible. Our leaves are beautiful individually, but collectively they combine to tell a complete story.
