Caroni 24 Years Old Precious Liquors Tortuga No. 3 1998 is a limited-edition heavy Trinidad rum from the Caroni distillery, which closed its doors in 2002. It has been bottled by Precious Liquors and the East Asia Whisky Company for a series that supports The Sea Turtle Conservancy in the fight to preserve sea turtles. The rum was distilled in 1998 and matured for a total of 24 years. It was finished in rare Mizunara (Japanese oak) for 21 months, merging the flavours of the Caribbean with those of the Far East, and is bottled at a full proof of 58.1%.
