This sculpture derives its impact from the controlled tension of a continuous ribbon of forged brass. Folded and opened in a fluid motion, the form describes a state of equilibrium in transition—neither closed nor dissolved, but deliberately held in the state of "in-between."

The hammered surface refracts light in irregular reflections, lending the material a vibrant depth. The clear, minimalist design language stands in conscious contrast to the haptic presence of the metal.

The work explores proximity and distance, touch and separation. Two volumes engage in a relationship without fully uniting—a field of tension that is not resolved, but permanently maintained.

It is in this balance between stillness and movement that the sculpture unfolds its true power: as a silent, precisely placed statement of contemporary sculptural design.
