Lojithan Ram | Sadanku

Lojithan Ram is a multidisciplinary artist and lens-based medium practitioner. Holds his BFA specialisation (painting) at the RAFA, University of Jaffna (2018). He is currently working as a Curator at the “Photographic Society of Sri Lanka”. Also, part of numerous community engagements: founder of Batticaloa Photo-History Archive (since 2021); Co-founder of We Are From Here Collective (since 2018); humanity and Earth, photo documenting, Batticaloa (since 2017). “Capturing the Current” as a photojournalistic series at the Chennai Photo Biennale, 2022-2023; ”People’s Voice is Louder” at the 5th Kochi Muziris Biennale edition, 2023; exhibiting “Ashray” and “Dhaka Art Summit." "Legacies" at the "Chennai Photo Biennale" Part of the “Shared Tides” residency, “Prince Clause seed awardee” 2023, "Nostalgia" (2022) at the Saskia Fernando gallery, Colombo Sri Lanka.
