This is an early Fleming shank bit featuring a hooded Mona Lisa mouthpiece and classic hand-cut silver inlay set into cold-rolled steel cheeks. Fleming’s early work is easily recognized by its construction: cold-steel shanks with individually fitted silver panels, crisp but shallow engraving, and a more organic, handmade geometry compared to later production pieces.
