Variety Radiothon 2025
Variety SA supported by FIVEAA are proud to be holding the 11th Annual Variety SA Radiothon – Friday 28 November 2025 at Adelaide Airport. From 6am until 6pm, the FIVEAA announcers and Variety team will be working towards raising vital funds for South Australian children who are sick, experiencing disadvantage or living with disability. For many children and their families across South Australia, the holidays can be a challenging time. The Variety Radiothon is raising money to help purchase Christmas gifts for kids in need. Auction terms and conditions
The 2025 Variety Radiothon auction will be conducted electronically online from 9:00am CST, Monday 10 November 2025, on the AirAuctioneer platform, with bids displayed automatically. 2. Telephone bids will be accepted via FIVEaa from 6:00am to 6:00pm CST on Friday, 28 November 2025. Telephone bids will be entered electronically into the auction system on the bidder’s behalf. No responsibility is taken for any delays in the placement of bids during this process. Telephone bids will close 15 minutes prior to the close of the individual item’s auction. 3. Items will be sold to the highest eligible bidder recorded at the close of bidding. Each item’s closing time will be promoted online and on air. Winners will be notified on screen and via email. Your first name may be announced on FIVEaa if you are the winning bidder. 4. By agreeing to these terms & conditions, bidders accept that, as a successful winner, they will pay in full for the item, including any delivery costs. 5. All bids are in Australian dollars. Payment must be made within seven days via EFT transfer to Variety – The Children’s Charity of South Australia (BSB 633 000, Account 175 100 858), cheque, Visa, or Mastercard. 6. Bids will not be accepted after the close of the auction. 7. Minimum bid increments will apply to each item. 8. No auction item may be redeemed for cash. 9. Variety – The Children’s Charity of South Australia shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or personal injury suffered in connection with the auction or auction items, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law. 10. All sales are final. There will be no refunds or exchanges on goods or services. 11. Variety SA gives no warranty on items offered. 12. Values listed alongside each item are estimates or recommended retail prices and are not guaranteed by Variety SA, their staff, or representatives. 13. Photos may not represent the actual product offered and are used for illustration purposes only. 14. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you consent to your details being passed on to third parties associated with this auction, which may be used for marketing purposes. 15. Each auction item may have its own specific terms and conditions, which must also be accepted by the bidder in order to redeem or use the item. 16. Purchasers should be aware that auction items are not tax deductible donations. Variety is not a tax consultant and therefore assumes no liability for action taken as a result of these guidelines. In any instance where a purchaser is uncertain of the tax implications they should consult their own accountant or tax adviser.
