Overwhelm

My whole life I have wondered why I can go from one day being so excited, engaged, so technicolour and bold to the next day being so utterly overwhelmed, exhausted and drowning. Now thanks to the ‘neurospicy’ community, I know it is my audhd brain and no amount of pushing or pulling can bring me out of the deep sense of overwhelm. Just time, rest, patience, and love for self. It’s hard when you are a helper but lately I remind myself to put my own life vest on first.
