This pair of glass pheasant wings were cerated by taking rubber milds off of actual wings, replicating them in wax, and then using a lost wax technique to cast them in crystal clear glass. The process allows for exact detail, even capturing the tiny fibers of each feather. When the works are cast, they are then ground and polshed to give it a refined look,  which also enhances their light capturing capabilities.
