Another work which was created for a demosntration for the advanced glass students, this large blwon colorful vessel was cut in half using a technique called hot-popping. After grinding and polishing, the piece was coatred with a pure silver solution - a similar process to the ways mirrors were created. The silver was allowed to tarnish and age, before being coated with a sealer.
