These highly experimental works were created by subverting some basic processes and traditions in glass. The glass spheres were allowed to cool rapidly, causing them to explode into millions of pieces. The pieces were maintained and put back together using epozies and plaster. Once stable, the plaster was then carved using a traditional glass carving technique, which can be seen in many of Katerina Verguelis' previous works. This unusual conceptual work is highly visually stimulating and truly one of a kind.
