Pramith Geekiyanage, a visionary artist, embarked on his artistic journey by earning his MFA from Kalaniya University in 2019. Initially captivated by figurative art, Geekiyanage's artistic evolution led him towards the realm of abstraction. His signature style emerged through abstract inkblot-inspired pieces, reminiscent of Rorschach tests, which soon garnered widespread acclaim. Deeply intrigued by the profound questions surrounding reality and the intricate relationship between appearance and truth, Geekiyanage diverged from the predominant focus on socio-political themes prevalent in contemporary art. While acknowledging the importance of such endeavors, he found himself drawn to the foundational inquiries of visual expression.

Central to Geekiyanage's artistic exploration is the dialectical interplay between repetition and contingency. He observes the pervasive presence of repeating patterns in the natural world, suggesting an underlying order or law governing their recurrence.
